i haven't been blogging because i have been working on three or a million or so projects. here are some pictures!
these are two of three lino blocks i carved to accompany the text of a poem that was written in conjunction with
this event. i was asked to design the layout for and typeset the poem and print 120 copies (letterpress) for the event tomorrow. it was a fun project- i learned a lot and it was thrilling to create something that made the artist, poet, and gallery director very happy. i even got
paid. of course, i will take any excuse i can get to use the presses at scripps. :)
speaking of text and layouts and design, here is a portion of a drawing i just finished for my pa- more on that later.

yup! i'm going to take a photograph of the harriet tubman sculpture tomorrow, and i'll post all of that soon (i hope).
